12 Byzantine Rulers is my new favorite podcast. It’s a series of lectures about the history of the Byzantine Empire. Each lecture talks about a particular Emperor. This probably sounds dry, but the professor does a very good job of keeping it interesting- good voice and sound quality too.
I started listening as we are planning a vacation to the Balkans later this year, and wanted some background on the history of these countries. However, I recommend this series to anyone with an interest in European history.
