This December has been unseasonably cold and snowy. We took advantage of this the weekend before Christmas by going on a cross-country ski to our local Lory State Park. In a typical year, Lory is never skiable. The weather was only in the teens, but that was far better than the mountains, where the temperature barely rose above zero.
