We had an absolutely fabulous day skiing at Winter Park yesterday. The trails and glades were filled with lots of fresh powder. The weather was cloudy and fairly cold, punctuated by a constant whispering of big, fluffy, geometrically-perfect snowflakes. And then, late in the day, the winds blew away the clouds, revealing snow-covered pines in soft afternoon light…
