Kevin and I just got back from a short backpack to the Pawnee Buttes.  We left Fort Collins in late afternoon, and arrived there around 6:00 p.m.  We were at the Buttes for 14 hours, and I shot 371 pictures.  We shot the afternoon light, the sunset, the moonlight, and the sunrise.  We brought sandwiches and pop-tarts so that we didn’t have to stop and cook.  Somewhere in there, we also slept.

Of course, I did a lot of bracketing.  Even so, the number of pictures that I have to look at is a little daunting.  Since I have yard work to do today, I thought I would just post one quickly rather than agonize for hours over which one is the best.  I need to get on with my day!  This one is from the sunrise.
