I took this picture during a circumambulation of Lumpy Ridge in Rocky Mountain National Park.  There are some dry, dusty pine forests in the area, and I was afraid that the whole hike would be through them.  However, the opposite side of the mountain is actually an open valley filled with Aspens, and the near side skirts McGregor Ranch (shown above), with great views of rock climbers doing their thing on the nearby cliffs.  Definitely a hike worth doing.
