Last Sunday, Dorinna and I went hiking with our friends Ken and Darlene.  We hiked to Chasm Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.  The weather was “variable” — that’s a nice way to say it was cold, windy, and rained on three separate occasions.  Ah, but bad weather in the mountains means clouds.  And September in the mountains means the ground cover turns to fall colors.  The shot above is of Longs Peak.  I used my tripod, and took a number of shots.  The one above was the result of two combined exposures.
