For some reason, this simple black and white image of a tree grabs my attention. The shadow maybe? Kevin and I woke up early on Saturday morning to catch the sunrise at Horsetooth Mountain Park. Considering the multiple herds of deer, the hawk, and the great light, we weren’t tremendously successful in getting good pictures. But if you want a blurry deer picture, drop me a line.
The original image is below. I applied a monochrome conversion (with red filter), and a small crop using Apple Aperture.
Technical Data: Canon Rebel XTi; Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM at 56 mm; f/8 at 1/500; ISO 400; converted to Monochrome with a Red Filter
