After attending a photo class in the morning, Kevin and I were inspired to take some photos.  We went for a short walk at Arapahoe Bend Natural Area in Fort Collins.  We didn’t walk long, but we shot a lot of pictures.  Here is one of my favorites, with a wonderful soft golden light of late afternoon.

This was actually two shots combined with Helicon Focus.  One kept the front bush in focus, and one kept the back bush in focus.  A third shot kept the ice and background in focus, but I don’t think it had the same impact as this image.
