OK, if anyone doubts the awesomeness of the Canon 7D in low-light situations, here is a section of the photo above magnified to 100%:
I remember when I used to shoot nothing but Fujichrome Velvia at ISO 40. Back then, ISO 800 was a blurry unusable mess. The photo above was shot at ISO 3200. I didn’t even bother with noise reduction software. Unbelievable.
