I’d like to share a great story about how I stalked this little raccoon wearing camouflage and using an 800mm super-telephoto lens. But the reality is that my next-door neighbor called me over to show me a group of raccoons dozing in a tree in his backyard. I walked about 4 feet away and shot it at point blank with a standard lens. I even used fill flash when the first few shots looked dark. He didn’t even flinch.
I mean, really. I’m embarrassed to admit how easy this one was. Total gimme.
