This year’s New Year’s resolution is to stay current with the WIRR, instead of falling behind on photo processing like I did in 2010. We’ll see how it goes… Of course, I’ll also be slowly going through my 2010 backlog.
In addition, this year I’ll be adding a theme to the WIRR each month. After my work at the end of last year on my Everyday Surreal project, where I pumped up the colors as much as I could, I wanted to swing the other way for a change. So for January, the theme will be “black and white.” In fact, every photo that I take in January will be black and white (except for family snapshots). I feel like I need the practice shooting in black and white.
This is a Cottonwood I shot in my backyard this afternoon as the snow fell.
