Last week, I made a pledge that every picture I took during the month of January would be black & white. This pledge lasted about an hour, until I looked out the window and saw the beautiful blue surrounding our Christmas decorations:
Nevertheless, I was still committed to black & white photography as I searched for this week’s WIRR. But then I found myself in a convention center ballroom for an all-day company strategy presentation. I only talked for half an hour, but I spent the other 4.5 hours sitting on stage watching the beautiful lights overhead. Luckily I had in my briefcase a new toy, and I was able to grab a few shots during a break.
I tried to turn this into a black and white image, but…
It’s nice, but I still don’t think it can compete with the color version shown above.
