This is a close-up of a pine cone from a Ponderosa Pine, shot at Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming. We camped and hiked there for a weekend. The trails were very nice, however the camping was a bit crowded and lacked privacy. We scouted out some better sites for next time.
