Nah, not really. I haven’t driven a car to my office since May 8. I’m not sure why I would need a new car at this point.
I did buy a new commuter bike yesterday- Trek 7.4 FX. Already equipped with rack, lights, toe clips, kickstand, bell, and fenders. Maiden voyage scheduled for about an hour.

My old commuter bike Dorinna bought at a used bike store four years ago. I got my money’s worth to be sure. This one cost a lot more, but weighs 9 pounds less, has tires half as wide, and has 27 gears instead of 7. Should be a lot faster and easier to ride around town.
I’m thinking of putting studded snow tires on the old one and using it in the winter- bus stop is only 1.6 miles away. We’ll see…
