WIRR 2017, February Week 4

This was a week marred by the flu, which severely curtailed my photography.  I missed taking a daily photo for three days in a row.  This particular shot was from my one photo walk in Old Town Fort Collins.  I’ve always loved this old clock on Linden Street.  I have no idea what happened to First National Bank, or even which building formerly housed it.  My favorite image of the week:

Fujifilm X-T2, Fujinon XF 18-55 f/2.8-4 R LM OIS at 31.5mm, f/13 at 1/500; ISO 400.

Digital Darkroom. Alas, out of the camera this image was good but not particularly exciting.  I knew I wanted a “old-fashioned” look, but black and white and sepia didn’t peak my interest.  Instead I used Google’s Snapseed app and applied a Grunge filter with a texture.

WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh.  This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
