This photo makes me smile. I was working on a Saturday, and took a break for a short photo walk. I wandered into Old Town Square where Fortoberfest was going on. I was maneuvering into a position where I could take a picture of the band, when I saw this woman’s tattoos in front of me. I forgot about the band, crouched down, and fired off a series of shots. I love the weird combination of Spongebob Squarepants and Grateful Dead imagery, and it became my favorite image of the week.

WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh. This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
