This was another week of dog-sitting and walks in the park. You can see Luna hanging out in the center of the frame. On this particular afternoon, the cold weather was pierced by warm sun beams, and this became my favorite image of the week.

Digital Darkroom. For this image, I tried out some of the profiles provided inside Adobe Lightroom CC, deciding on Modern 4. I made some minor adjustments to the lighting settings; lowering highlights was the most dramatic. My goal was to increase the definition of the sunbeams, and some clarity helped that. I finished by slightly warming the image.
WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh. This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
