Friends and long-time readers know I have a thing for ceiling lamps, and they sometimes show up in this feature. I love the subject matter because you can almost always find an unusual light everywhere you go. This particular one was at our local Tokyo Joe’s restaurant. It sometimes is a challenge to find an angle to minimize background distractions, but I had a few minutes before our food arrived, so… this became my favorite image of the week.

Digital Darkroom. Just a few minor touches to contrast and saturation. I also gave noise reduction a nudge. Finally, I used Touch ReTouch to “peel off” a sticker that was on the light.
