The City of Fort Collins is known for sculpture, painted transformers, and murals. This is a relatively new piece on an apartment complex called Uncommon. The banded eyes on the rabbit reminded me of a raccoon. The combination reminded me of Rocket Racoon in Avengers: Infinity War, when Thor referred to Rocket as a “noble rabbit” and this became my favorite image of the week.

”Noble Rabbit”

Digital Darkroom. Nothing subtle about this one. Started with a Fujichrome Velvia film emulation, then pumped up contrast, saturation, dehaze, and clarity. And lowered blacks. All to bring out the crazy colors of the mural.

WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh. This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
