While at my cousin’s house back in April, I ventured into the garage.

My cousin’s husband, Alfredo, was overhauling an old Honda motorcycle, a 1975 Honda GL 1000 (Goldwing). It was mostly put together, with only a few parts out of place. The garage was dark, so I cranked up the ISO, cursed that extra cup of coffee, and went to work. While there wasn’t much of it, I loved the light. The gleaming metal was free of blinding glare, and the shadows held just enough mystery.
