Old friend Mark Sangillo visited us from New Hampshire this week. We spent a day hiking in the woods of Wyoming, but also spent a day doing a bicycle tour of Fort Collins. Bicycle tours of Fort Collins involve beer, of course, and this one was no exception. One place we stopped was Purpose Brewing. Run by the former brewmaster of New Belgium, Purpose Brewing always provides a small selection of unique and tasty brews. We got a sampler flight, and added one for good measure. Although I took numerous mountain landscapes the next day, this colorful photo became my favorite image of the week.

Digital Darkroom. I started by increasing contrast, lowering the shadows, and increasing the highlights to add some additional sparkle. I also bumped up texture and clarity to bring out additional detail in the wood table.

WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh. This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
