On an afternoon walk in downtown Fort Collins, I spotted this familiar sculpture. This time I took a closer look. I loved the texture in the beard and the fading colors throughout, and this became my favorite image of the week.

Why did I name this “#2”. Because this is actually the second time this particular sculpture was the subject of a WIRR. Back in January 2010, the statue showed much less wear and tear.

I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
