This image is out of sequence- I wanted to post last week’s Christmas image before the holiday.
I’m always looking for photos, and this weekend I found one while Christmas shopping. While waiting for the family to finish in a store, I looked up and noticed the bands of color on the building next to me. This became my favorite image of the week.

Digital Darkroom. I started by increasing contrast and shadows, and significantly lowering highlights to restore a blown out section of the yellow building façade. I applied dehaze and ended by increasing exposure by a tap.
WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh. This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
