Over the years, our family has accumulated a set of Lego Advent calendars- seven in total. Each year, from December 1 to 24, we build seven different Legos, six from Star Wars and one from Harry Potter. On some days you build space ships or Christmas trees, but there are plenty of days when you build mini-figs. This year I saw how big the collection had became, and assembled them together in the living room. A bit unorthodox compared to my usual outdoor photography, this nevertheless became my favorite image of the week.

Digital Darkroom. Just some small adjustments to exposure, contrast, and texture. The hard work was lining up all the figures without knocking them over like dominoes.
WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh. This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
