WIRR 2021, November Week 5

For over a week the artist duo of Lindz and Lamb had been painting a mural on the side of the Old Firehouse in Old Town Fort Collins. The mural, titled “Colorado Lambscape,” was visible from my office door. On this particular evening, the five o’clock light was soft and warm and this became my favorite image of the week.

Digital Darkroom. Less manipulation than the last time this mural was featured. I increased both texture and clarity, and even gave it an extra pop of saturation.

WIRR stands for Weekly Image Rich Ruh. This regular feature on Das Has von Ruh will show and describe my favorite photo created during this weekly period. My weeks start on Mondays, as does the WIRR. I’m hoping to include commentary on the story, the setting, the specs, or the sentiments, depending on the circumstances.
