I love trees in winter. Cobalt blue skies and the stark white fractal-like branches create an interesting contrast. This was a slow week, but a local storm dumped enough snow to cross-country ski through the local park. As we made the short loop, I took a few photos, and this became my favorite image of the week.

Digital Darkroom. I started image processing by increasing whites and highlights, and decreasing blacks. From there, the fun app Tiny Planet Photos provided the fun swirl, and turned this into more of an abstract photo.
