Adventure 2021: Capitol Reef National Park — Upper Muley Twist, Day 2 (May 17)

Scroll down to content

The final day felt anticlimactic. Dawn came early, and we packed up and hiked out to the car before 7:00 am. We ate breakfast and said our goodbyes.

Doug went west, back to California, and I went east to Colorado.

On the way home, I stopped a number of times for photographs. At the park boundary I reinflated the tires of the Jeep and took a bandana bath.

The trip was long, and I went from the desert heat into a snowstorm as I crossed the Rocky Mountains.

Doug and I had a great trip together, and we look forward to our next adventure.
